Something worth noting for people who are first generation college students (first generation) like me. GPA is a reflection of how smart you are and how well you know how to use the system. There are a lot of really stupid people who have a 4.0 because, for whatever reason, they understand how to play the game.
You may think that you want to challenge yourself by choosing strong teachers, arguing that they will teach you more. False, you'll just be bored and have a bad gpa to show for it. Choosing a teacher is a very important part of getting a good gpa.

Non-hospital commitment is very important to us. You've already demonstrated service history, but you need to do more. Commit yourself to something that you feel is meaningful and you will enjoy it. I didn't do anything, but I counted what came out of the war.
Everything after high school counts. I was a Sergeant in the Marines, which I left at the end of 19 with the intention of starting medical studies at the end of '20 thinking that it would be as easy as applying for my ba program.
